Welcome to GetAbLocal! These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our mobile application (“App”) and website. By accessing or using GetAbLocal, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use GetAbLocal. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms.
2. Account Responsibility
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- All activity under your account is your responsibility.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
3. User Conduct
You agree not to use GetAbLocal to:
- Engage in illegal or fraudulent activity.
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users or vendors.
- Disrupt or interfere with the operation of the App or servers.
- Post or transmit content that infringes intellectual property rights.
4. Vendor & Driver Interactions
Drivers or delivery personnel” refers to any person fulfilling deliveries for GetAbLocal, regardless of mode of transport.
GetAbLocal connects users with vendors and drivers. We are not responsible for the quality, availability, or delivery of products. Users should resolve disputes directly with vendors when possible.
5. Payments & Refunds
- All payments are processed securely via Paystack.
- GetAbLocal does not store credit/debit card details.
- Refunds, if applicable, are handled according to vendor policies.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, logos, designs, and software in the App are owned by Lantoana (Pty) Ltd or its partners. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any content without prior written permission.
7. Liability Limitations
GetAbLocal is provided "as-is." We are not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- Losses arising from service interruptions, delays, or errors.
- Disputes between users, vendors, or drivers.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion if a user violates these Terms or engages in harmful behavior.
9. Modifications
We may update these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of South Africa.
